Our web platform

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. SEISMOGRAPH should be immediately informed if by any reason you believe that the password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner. Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering.

All credit card transactions are carried out through PayPal's secure credit card payment system. Please visit www.paypal.com for details on how the latter safeguards the privacy of purchasers and security of transactions.

Our software applications

The terms of use of our software products are presented to you upon installation (you will have to explicitly indicate your acceptance of such license terms in order to be able to proceed with the installation). The full text of the software license is included here:

 

License Agreement

This License Agreement is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or entity) and SEISMOGRAPH . By installing, copying or otherwise using the software, you agree to be bound by all of its terms and conditions. Hence, please do read it carefully.

  • This Software is owned by SEISMOGRAPH and is protected by copyright law and the international copyright treaty. Therefore, you must treat this Software like any other copyrighted material, except that you may either make one copy of the Software solely for backup or archival purposes or transfer the Software to a single hard disk provided that you keep the original solely for backup purposes.
  • You are granted a non-exclusive License to use the software on one single computer. The software may not be rented, leased, diffused or transferred.
  • The right to make any use of the full version of the software may be obtained through the purchase of the license from SEISMOGRAPH. (Free editions do not require a license)
  • You may not distribute, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the program, or any subset of the program.
  • All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by SEISMOGRAPH. Any right, title, or interest in the Software cannot be transferred.
  • The Software is distributed "AS IS" and you assume full responsibility for determining the suitability of the software and for results obtained.
  • Installing or using the software implies acceptance of these terms and conditions of the License.
  • YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AND MAINTAINING INTERNET ACCESS IN ORDER TO VALIDATE THE LICENSE.
  • If you do not agree with the terms of this License you must remove the Software from your storage devices and cease to use the Software forthwith.
  • SEISMOGRAPH reserves the right to change the executable code and to remove, add or change the Software's functions.
  • SEISMOGRAPH does not test or design its products for use with virtual operating systems, thus virtual operating systems are not a qualified configuration for SEISMOGRAPH products.
  • Any variation to the terms of this Agreement shall only be valid if made and delivered by SEISMOGRAPH.
  • You shall be solely responsible for providing all hardware, software, and communications capabilities required for use of the Software.
  • SEISMOGRAPH takes no responsibility for the third-party applications compatibility issues. In such a case, you may need to resolve the issue with the respective software provider.
  • SEISMOGRAPH has never claimed that its products are free of errors or bugs.

THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE SOFTWARE PROVE TO BE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

IN NO EVENT WILL THE AUTHOR OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY HAVE DISTRIBUTED THE SOFTWARE AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS), EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THE SOFTWARE USES STRONG ENCRYPTION ALGORITHM, IT WAS ENTIRELY DEVELOPED OUTSIDE OF THE USA AND SO IT IS FREE FROM EXPORT RESTRICTIONS. HOWEVER IF YOU HAVE LAWS IN YOUR COUNTRY WHICH PREVENT THE USE OF STRONG CRYPTOGRAPHICAL PRODUCTS THEN PLEASE REMOVE THIS ARCHIVE FROM YOUR COMPUTER. SEISMOGRAPH RETAINS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS SOFTWARE.

 

System Requirements

We have successfully tested SEISMOGRAPH for the following configurations. Other options may be available in the future.

  • Operating Systems: Windows 7 (32-bit / 64-bit) / Windows 8.1 (64-bit) / Windows 10 (64-bit)
    • Note: You need the English Display Language for the windows itself. (not to be mistaken with KEYBOARD LANGUAGE)
  • Minimum Screen Resolution: 1280 x 768
  • MATLAB Software: R2015b or MATLAB Runtime 9.0
  • Microsoft Excel: 2010 / 2013 / 2016 (required for exporting data)
  • CPU & Memory: As recommended by the MathWorks.com for MATLAB product
